They say that sometimes money can't buy happiness. While the lower and middle class might disagree, Justin Bieber is one celebrity who can wholeheartedly agree with that statement. Bieber should be thrilled with his life, given that he's amassed millions, has countless fans and just had a child with his wife, Hailey Bieber.
But instead of being able to cherish all of that, Bieber has to deal with truly unrelenting paparazzi on a regular basis. That's in addition to the constant negative attention he faces from the media. It takes a toll, and we've seen Bieber's mental health deteriorate at a rapid rate as a result. Some would argue that he brings it upon himself, though.
Is Justin Bieber too controlling behind the scenes?
In fact, some members of his own inner circle feel that way. In a recent report by Shirley Halperin of The Hollywood Reporter, the journalist spoke to an ex-team member of Bieber's, and the review wasn't exactly glowing.
Seeing him disintegrate like this... it's watching the embodiment of someone not living their purpose. He's lost. There's no one protecting him because there's no one there willing to say no to him. You say no, you get blown out.
While the former team member sounds a bit saddened by the whole situation, they also seem unsurprised by what's going on. Behind the scenes, it appears that Bieber does things his own way and doesn't really take advice from others.
It's tough to decipher what's accurate and what isn't, especially from someone who is no longer part of Bieber's entourage. A rep for Bieber already came out to call the quote from the team member "clickbait stupidity".
